کنفرانس آلودگی نوری در پایتخت نجوم جهان
اعضای انجمن بین المللی آسمان تاریک برای اشتراک گذاری دانش، ایدهها و تجربیات موفقی که در آموزشهای همگانی، مطالبات شهروندی و اتخاذ سیاستهای موثر برای داشتن آسمانی تاریک و راهبردهای حفاظت از تاریکی طبیعی شب بدست آوردهاند، هر ساله در نشستی که به همین منظور از سوی انجمن بینالمللی آسمان تاریک برگزار میشود، گرد هم میآیند. امسال نیز شهر توسان ایالت آریزونا در ۱۷ و ۱۸ آبان ماه ۱۳۹۸ میزبان طرفداران آسمان تاریک شب و ۱۸ سخنرانِ این کفرانس خواهد بود.
شعار نشست امسال نیز «تلاش برای بازگرداندن ستارهها» انتخاب شده است و در توسان که به پایتخت نجومی جهان معروف است، برگزار میشود.
شهر توسان با نورپردازیهای استاندارد و آسمان تاریکی که دارد، فرصتها و پتانسیلهای زیادی را برای رصدگران آسمان و عکاسان نجومی فراهم کرده است. این نشست نیز فرصتی است برای ارتباط بیشتر و توانمندسازی اعضا، برای برداشتن قدمهای کوچک و بزرگ در جامعه محلیشان در جهت حفظ تاریکی طبیعی شب و محیط زیست شبانه.
در کنفرانس چه میگذرد
کارگاههای روز اول این نشست به طور کلی به دانش، مهارتها و ابزار مورد نیاز برای اطلاعرسانی درباره اهمیت و حفظ شب خواهند بود و به صورت کاملتر به موضوعات: احداث پارک آسمان تاریک، آشنایی با آلودگی نوری و اثرات آن، چگونگی اطلاعرسانی و آگاهسازی جامعه و دولت مردان همراه با روشهای خلاقانه، اهمیت نور برای حیاتوحش و نیاز موجودات زنده به شب، گسترش گردشگری نجومی و معرفی فعالیتهای متناسب با زندگی شبانه، چگونگی فراخوان از داوطلبان بیشتر و ایجاد تغییراتی مثبت با حفظ هنجارهای هر جامعه خواهند پرداخت.
کارگاههای روز دوم نیز بر نتایج حاصل از فعالیتهای مبارزه با آلودگی نوری تمرکز دارند. اینکه چطور دانش و دادههای بدست آمده میتوانند در جهت تحول پایدار، اطلاعرسانی درباره آلودگی نوری و راهکارهای مبارزه با آن کمک کنند، معرفی و بیان قوانین و استانداردهای نورپردازی شهرها و روشهای اصلاح نورپردازی فضاهای باز، بدست آوردن نقشههای آلودگی نوری با استفاده از نرم افزارها(مثل استلاریوم) و سایت darkskymap، روشهای سنجش میزان تاریکی آسمان نیز از دیگر عنوانهای کارگاههای روز دوم خواهد بود.
در پایان نیز پنلی برای هماندیشی و گفت و گو برای ترویجگران و مبارزان آلودگی نوری در نظر گرفته شده است.
